Alvadore Oregon

Alvadore is one of the communities that make up the southern Willamette Valley.

With the Fern Ridge Reservoir Dam and Orchard Point Park within a mile of Alvadore, it's not surprising that boating and fishing are two of the most popular recreational activities. The town was originally formed around a branch of an early railroad. Today the area is part bedroom community for Eugene commuters, and part farm town, supporting the local grass seed farms and commercial plant nurseries.

Alvadore is situated just 10 miles away from Eugene and Springfield Oregon, where many residents do their shopping.
